Better Prepared Patients. Better Surgical Outcomes.

Prehab Zone Surgeon Information

Why Prehab Zone?

Prehab Zone aims to empower your patients to take an active role in their surgical preparation. The benefits of surgical prehabilitation include improved physiological resilience and overall fitness, reduced complication rates after surgery, reduced length of stay and a more rapid return to pre-surgical function.

Prehab Zone provides comprehensive education and psychosocial support to patients giving them a clear understanding of what to expect and self-management tools to aid their recovery both in hospital and at home. Our information is specific to surgery type, backed by evidence and has been compiled by leaders in the field of physiotherapy/rehabilitation, dietetics and perioperative medicine.

Patients take control of their journey, knowing that they have given themselves the best opportunity to optimise their recovery and improve their function.

  • Medical comorbidities and exercise capacity
  • Current physical activity levels
  • Lifestyle risk factors
